About Trey

Country Music singer-songwriter and guitarist Trey Hirsh is making a quick impact on the Nashville music scene, as publishers, songwriting organizations, and music producers get to know his cool sound and clever songwriting. A recipient of UCLA's Hal Gaba 2014 Songwriting Scholarship Award, Trey also recently won "Best Country Song" in the 2013 West Coast Songwriters International Songwriting Contest for his song Mess with Texas off of his album Livin' the Dream. He has been dubbed “One to Watch” by Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), and he has had six songs recommended to the organization’s quarterly “Pitch to Publisher” Luncheon.

Trey's original EP showcased his range by including everything from the existential cowboy ballad When I'm Gone to the heart-wrenching Me and the Whiskey, which tells the painful story of love lost and maybe not the best way to deal with it. Now with a full album titled Livin' the Dream under his belt, it is clear Trey loves to write about having a good time and living for today. He is particularly good at penning upbeat love songs such as Coming Home to You, Mess with Texas, Let You Back In and She's Coming This Way  as well as some feel-good, party songs like Stayed Out TonightLivin’ The Dream, Two Shots of Patrón, and Three Wise Men.

Trey has studied songwriting with Jason Blume, Marty Panzer, Phil Swann, RC Bannon, Rick Beresford, Deanna Walker, and Steve Bloch among others. He got back in the studio in May to record some new tracks that have been getting a lot of attention, including one very sexy Country Christmas song called Let Me Be Your Santa Claus.
